Human-Machine Interfaces and Gaming Technologies in Defence

The European Commission and the Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster invite you to participate in the European Conference “Human-Machine Interfaces and Gaming Technologies in Defence”, 26th – 27th of September 2023 in the city of Zagreb, Croatia. This “in-person”- event will take place in the framework of the European Network of Defence-related Regions.

The Conference will address how digital technologies can be used in defence and what the benefits are for the battlefield. Human-Machine interfaces and gaming technologies, which are core technologies for simulations and training have key importance for defence, especially looking to the future. Many critical technologies for security and defence increasingly originated in the civilian domain and use critical components of a dual-use nature.

Attractive Conference sessions, complemented with a live demonstration of innovative concepts and B2B matchmaking dynamic.

The event will be divided into Keynote Addresses and Panels on September 26th, followed by a tour to the new premises of the Croatian Military Academy and an opportunity for live demonstrations connected to some of the innovative concepts.

On September 27th we will open some interesting topics about EU defence financing along with the opportunity to introduce EU defence innovative projects in the form of pitching sessions. On both days B2Bs will take place in a virtual and physical format via the B2B platform for the participants who need more time for their meetings.
